How to make the hard things work well - exploration, engagement, excitement, and by pushing a few buttons.
Surprised. Delighted.
The package arrived without fanfare despite having a customs label on it as large as the envelope itself.
What was inside?
My Hollywood star of course.
Yes, yes. I know it isn’t real. I know it’s not in Hollywood. And I know they called it a “coaster” to get it through customs.
But it might as well have been on the walk-of-fame.
That’s the feeling our customers, your customers, and we get when receiving something unexpected.
This mail piece had everything.
It was personalized
It included a photo from the event just a few weeks ago
It invited me to the next event (CTA)
(And, be still my heart) had a QR code to make it easy for me to take action to join the next retreat
But what it mostly had was heart.
What can you do to delight some customers today?
AI and tech tools of the week
We have a new bit of research we’re starting. Want to contribute? Just click here (it should take less than 3 minutes).
We have doubled down on ChatGPT and deep research. This week alone, we’ve created drafts of buyer personas, keyword analysis, product development, mapped out a new SOP, and to find all the instances of mention on our full website and socials so we didn’t miss a legal update for a product.
If you’d like any of these example prompts, just reply which and we’ll send them along.
Until next week,
Rebecca and the Advisory 9 team
