the Friday Edition - the one where it's November

That's right... we've blinked and suddenly it's the end of the year.

Here's a checklist of what you should have now:

  1. 2025 Goals 3-4 including revenue and profit goals at a minimum

  2. 2025 Marketing Budget - if not approved, it should be in the final stages with commitments at least to H1 by 1 Dec

  3. End of 2024 push plan - what will the team do between now and 18 December to have everything ready for in market the first week of January

This might seem like a big list and too early, but these are the tools that can set a company apart in the marketplace. If you don't have them yet, you are in the majority, and this is just a little reminder you have time to get ahead!

AI Tool We Love This Week

If you haven't tired NotebookLM yet, drop everything. This is the tool that we've been waiting for - it's as if MS Binder, OneNote, Custom GPTs, and the best assistant you can imagine came together like the Wonder Twins. We'll share some videos of this in the future, but it's free with a Google account and easy to start using.

Marketing That Caught Our Attention

Pepsi Chase - great use of contagious marketing. If anyone mentions pizza, corvette, or chase, you're now very likely to ask if they've seen this video or share it. It's also just a lot of fun.

Earth Breeze - we continue to be drawn in by slightly longer-form content, and this is another entry there. It's smart, quick with the visuals, high on the benefits explanation, includes social proof, and so many other nuances that make this a worthy mention.
